Rohit Sharma Smashes a Magnificent Century in 1st Test Match Against Australia at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur.

The Indian cricket team is currently playing a test series against Australia, and the first match was started from 9th Feb at Nagpur. Indian opener, Rohit Sharma has been in excellent form in recent times and he made the stadium erupt with joy as he hit a magnificent century while leading from the front as captain. In the first test match against Australia, he continued his good form. Rohit came into bat as the opening pair with KL Rahul and from the very first ball, he looked in complete control of his innings. He played some delightful shots all around the ground, and the Australian bowlers found it difficult to contain him.

The Indian opener’s innings were a mixture of aggressive and patient batting. He played some beautiful cover drives, and the way he dealt with the short balls was a treat to watch. His footwork was exemplary, and he was very quick to pick the length of the deliveries. He never looked in any trouble, and he took his time to settle in before going for the big shots.

Rohit Sharma’s ninth test century, his first as captain, and his first against Australia. Rohit Sharma has reached three figures in 171 balls and it was studded with 15 fours and 2 sixes. That was hit against the spin ball inside out over mid-off and cover, a brilliant shot. The Nagpur crowd erupted in joy as he brought up his century 2nd the day of a test match at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur. He was finally dismissed for a well-made 120 from 212 balls and the Indian team will be hoping that he continues his good form for the remainder of the series. After that India loose wickets of Pujara, Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, and Srikar Bharat very cheaply and at regular intervals then Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel stood strong and rotated the strike and reached Indian Team 321/7 till stumps. Now India is in a commanding position in this test.

The Indian cricket team has been in fantastic form in recent times, and the way they have been playing has been a delight to watch. They are playing an excellent brand of cricket, and with players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in top form along with injury return Rabindra Jadeja, Rabi Aswin, and Axar Patel, they will be a tough team to beat.

Rohit Sharma’s magnificent century at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur was a treat to watch. His innings was a perfect display of the way modern-day cricket should be played, and he will be hoping to continue his good form in the upcoming matches. The Indian team will be hoping to build on this good start and win the series against the tough Australian side.
